One message stood out at FTT AI Transformation: the conversation around AI agents has shifted from exploration to execution.
Speaking with us at the event, Ben Thomas, Founder and CRO, Covecta, explored how organisations can move beyond abstract discussions and focus on the practical realities of deploying agentic AI across banks and lending institutions.
Ben noted that many organisations remain stuck in pilot, often because they are using the wrong type of tool for the task at hand. In his view, success depends on matching the right solution to the right use case, particularly when the work is highly specialised. Equally important is the partnership model. By embedding closely within client organisations, Covecta gains a deeper understanding of operational challenges and aligns its capabilities to real business needs, helping to deliver stronger outcomes across enterprise workflows.
Looking ahead, Covecta is continuing to expand its capabilities across the lending lifecycle, deposits, compliance, KYC and AML, with activity already underway in both the UK and the US. The focus remains on helping banks and lenders stay at the frontier of agentic innovation in a market that is evolving rapidly. The message is clear, progress in this space will not be defined by hesitation, but by the organisations willing to act decisively and adapt with confidence.
