During the Stockholm stop of the Fintech Talents Road Trip, Dadmehr Fatehi, the VP of Banking and Fintech at Insurely, shared insights into the problems they are trying to solve by providing real-time access to insurance data.
When it comes to insurance, the power has remained in the hands of the insurers for some time, but with the introduction of open insurance, it is enabling a shift by bringing that information and transparency to the consumer.
Dadmehr shares insights into a recent successful use case of a bank leveraging Insurely’s solutions within their app. By providing all the information to the consumer, they are able to identify any gaps and highlight where their insurance plans don’t work for them, and in return the bank is able to offer personalised, more suited products, benefiting both the bank and the customer.
For the road ahead in fintech, Dadmehr highlights how consumer demand is pushing the market in the right direction, and it all comes down to the balance between meeting consumer demands whilst also generating revenue, but how can this be achieved?
