“The way the financial services industry interacts with the consumer is heavily paper based and is pretty much an old fashioned way of doing things,” says Neil Bage, founder and director of research and development at Be-IQ. “The thing that it is missing is, the thing that makes us who we are, are our behaviours. They are the core of who we are and are driving every decision we ever make.”
“There are lots of lessons as a startup that you learn, but the one that sticks with me is that everything takes a lot longer than you think it will,” says Neil Bage, founder and director of research and development at Be-IQ. “It is hard hard graft and you have to put the miles in and nothing is easy – if you think you can do something in a year – make it two – by far the biggest lesson we have learned.”
