“So the problem is that we cannot progress and use the right tools and make the right choices if we don’t know what we are about to invest in or use,” says Durodié. “We need to understand what this tech is, we need to be really practical and pragmatic about the type of algorithms – how they operate, what it means when you deploy them and what it means in the business context. Because at the end of the day technology must follow business strategy.”
